Jacob St-Amour from Link-Cable Writes: `It is always sad to see a franchise get regulated into purgatory or finished before its time and in the case for the Legacy of Kain series, it is just that. A franchise that has boasted terrific after terrific experiences only to see them fade out of existence and from our console libraries. As time passes and we have new games to play, we have yet to see any mention of anything from one of our beloved childhood franchises and we do hope that Crystal Northwest, as well as Square Enix, are listening to fans as we have been asking and we truly want to see the rebirth of the Legacy of Kain series and relive what was one of the great hits of yesteryear.`
