Dept. of Transportation and Development Announces Bid Results for Statewide Projects *

Baton Rouge: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that 37 projects around the state were let on November 14, 2018. Twenty-three contractors presented apparent low bids totaling $110 million. `This latest bidding is resulting in a $110 million investment in our state`s infrastructure,` said DOTD Secretary Shawn D. Wilson, Ph.D. `There are several major projects coming up, including the rehabilitation of the Atchafalaya River Bridge and repairs to the Lake Vernon Dam.
