Colombian Officials Investigate Suspicious Death of Odebrecht Whistleblower, Son

Colombia`s attorney general announced on Wednesday it was beginning a criminal investigation into the deaths of a whistleblower and his son who were central witnesses in the corruption probe of Brazilian construction giant Odebrecht, according to BBC News. The whistleblower Jorge Enrique Pizano was a witness in one of the largest corruption cases in Latin America died last week at his home near Bogota.
