Counsell 2nd to Snitker for NL Manager of Year

While the Brewers fell a game short of the World Series this time, Craig Counsell`s work managing his boyhood team brought him within a whisker of winning the Baseball Writers` Association of America`s National League Manager of the Year Award. Counsell finished second behind Atlanta`s Brian Snitker, the BBWAA announced Tuesday.
