M`s, Rays near Zunino-Mallex deal, source says

The Mariners and Rays appear close to finalizing a trade that would send catcher Mike Zunino and outfielder Guillermo Heredia to Tampa Bay for Rays outfielder Mallex Smith. The pieces involved in the deal have been agreed to, a source told MLB Network insider Ken Rosenthal, but it won`t be completed until medical files are reviewed. Neither club has confirmed the agreement, which was first reported by Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times.
