PEKIN — Barks echoed around the Avanti’s Dome on Sunday as pets and animal lovers celebrated PetFest.In its second year, PetFest grew in size and expectations as Tazewell Animal improvement of Life Society, or TAiLS, worked to raise money to support Tazewell County Animal Control, with the goal of $5,000.A bake sale, painting station, cakewalk and triple the raffle prizes of last year were part of the expansion.
