Netflix's Luke Cage Series Canceled

Netflix has announced that Luke Cage will not be returning for a third season. The news comes just a few days after the announcement that Iron Fist has been canceled, leaving just Jessica Jones and Daredevil as the last Defenders standing on the streaming service.`Unfortunately, Marvel`s Luke Cage will not return for a third season,` reads a joint statement from Netflix and Marvel. `Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem`s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.`Showing solidarity, Iron Fist star Finn Jones posted an image on Instagram in response to the news.
