FAIRFIELD - On Sunday, the players and coaches of the Staples boys soccer team gathered to watch a video highlighting the first 60 years of Staples soccer. They watched the historic goals, the historic wins and celebrations and the historic championships. Now, as the next 60 years of Staples soccer begins, Lefty Penderakis staked his claim to having one of his goals put into the next highlight video.
