BJP banks on Chakma seats in Christian-majority Mizoram

GUWAHATI: To get a toehold in Christian-majority Mizoram, BJP is concentrating on just two Chakma-dominated seats of the 40-member assembly. The state goes to the polls on November 28. The central leadership of the party has identified the Chakma-majority constituencies West Tuipui and Tuichawng in Champhai district as potential strongholds. `We have a good chance of winning the two Chakma-majority seats.
