Metro may file FIR against arrested train molesters

KOLKATA: A day after a woman was allegedly molested by a gang of 10 youths in a Metro coach and then hounded on a platform, Metro Railway on Wednesday contemplated to register a case against the accused and charge them with creating trouble on railway premises. All the accused were arrested on Tuesday after the woman lodged a complaint at the Regent Park police station. The ordeal for the fashion designing student started soon after she boarded the train at Esplanade but none of her fellow passengers came to her rescue.
