Number of new passenger car registrations rose by 2.2% from January to September 2018

Press release: 11.874-185/18 Vienna, 2018-10-09 - A total of 275 758 new passenger cars was registered in the first nine months of 2018, resulting in an increase of 2.2%. Whereas the months January (+8.4%), February (+4.7%), April (+5.4%), May (+0.4%), June (+7.3%), July (+13.5%) and August (+31.3%) recorded increases, March (-3.9%) and September (-41.8%) showed decreases, as Statistics Austria reports.
