Though their season came to an end on Sunday at Coors Field, the Rockies took a step forward in 2018. As the final out was recorded in a 6-0 loss to the Breewers that completed a National League Division Series sweep, there was a sense of optimism in the Colorado clubhouse behind the immediate and poignant disappointment.
