Mariners close out 2018 with victory vs. Texas

The Mariners defeated the Rangers, 3-1, on Sunday at Safeco Field to close out the 2018 season. A pair of veterans may have played their final games with their respective clubs in third baseman Adrian Beltre and designated hitter Nelson Cruz. Both received standing ovations when they were removed from the game. Seattle starter Roenis Elias delivered five scoreless innings of one-hit ball, as Cameron Maybin and Guillermo Heredia collected multi-hit nights. Drew Robinson supplied the power for Texas, cranking his third home run of the season.
