Jacob deGrom finished off one of the greatest individual pitching seasons in MLB history Wednesday with eight scoreless innings against the Braves at Citi Field, in which he yielded only two hits while walking none and striking out 10. It was a fitting end to the 30-year-old right-hander`s 2018 campaign, further bolstering his already strong candidacy for the National League Cy Young Award.
