Man found with serious injuries dies en route to hospital, police treating death as suspicious

Toronto police are treating the death of a man found with very serious injuries, who died on the way to the hospital, as a suspicious incident.Police said they received a call for a medical complaint at 4:07 p.m. and found a man near Carlton and Ontario Sts. with signs of trauma. Paramedics said when they got there, the man’s injuries threatened his life.The victim, who, paramedics said, was in his 40s, succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, police said.Paramedics said he had suffered from a head injury.Police said they are treating the incident as a suspicious death, which means they do not know how it happened yet.Premila D’Sa is a breaking news reporter, working out of the Star’s radio room in Toronto.
