Microsoft will be auctioning off several one-of-a-kind Xbox One X consoles to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The charity gathers a wide selection of custom Xbox One X designs inspired by famous celebrities from the world of video games, movies, and music, with autographs to match.According to the announcement, Microsoft first tried the `Konsoles for Kids` program in 2007, partnering with celebs like Peter Jackson and Russell Crowe. Now rebranded (with proper spelling), Consoles for Kids has partnered with stars like Ninja, Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, and Wiz Kahlifa, along with development studios like 343 Industries, Bethesda, and Mojang. You can check out the bids and make an offer yourself through CharityBuzz, and 100% of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish.Make-A-Wish is a charity that offers specially arranged experiences for kids suffering from critical illnesses. It has often partnered with celebrities to arrange hospital visits from a child`s favorite movie star or character. Promotions and fundraising like this one help cover operating costs for arranging these experiences.
