With Nintendo enjoying great success in the field, Sony has announced its own mini classic console. The company has announced the PlayStation Classic, a mini version of the original PlayStation. It comes with 20 `generation-defining` games, and it launches in December. It`s available for pre-order now.A complete list of games has not yet been announced. So far, the PlayStation Blog has only confirmed five titles: Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms. There`s no indication of what genres or companies will be represented by the remaining 15.The PlayStation Classic arrives on December 3, and that`s a notable date. It`s the day that the original PlayStation launched in 1994. The mini version is 45 percent smaller than the original PlayStation, and as you can see in the video, it captures the look of the system is based on, including its controllers.It comes with an HDMI cable, a USB cable to power it (the AC adapter is sold separately), and two controllers.
