Lifeboats News Release Saturday 15 September 2018 At 11.28am on Friday 14 September 2018, Troon all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch by Belfast Coastguard to assist Largs inshore lifeboat following reports of a yacht with engine failure drifting south of Cumbrae The crew attended at the lifeboat station and the Trent class all-weather lifeboat `RNLB Jim Moffat` was soon leaving the harbour into moderate sea conditions towards Cumbrae.
