Goans send relief materials to flood-hit victims in southern state

PANAJI: Goans, cutting across community lines, have come forth to reach out to victims in flood-hit Kerala. Two naval trucks filled with relief material, comprising packaged food, clothes, blankets, drinking water, toiletries and sanitary napkins were sent to the naval base in Karwar on Sunday morning, from where they were loaded into a ship that sailed for Kerala, said a Navy spokesperson.
