Players Cup transition gets strong reviews: New date, new course pass early test

A bump in attendance and some positive feedback from the players from the Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada were two of the things that stood out as The Players Cup returned to Southwood Golf and Country Club for the 12th time. Despite the storied history with the event, it was the first time Southwood hosted the tournament since 1990 and the first time at the new location, a Thomas McBroom design that opened in 2011.
