A.J. Pollock was the hero for the D-backs as his ninth-inning homer off Kirby Yates proved to be the difference. The D-backs trailed 3-2 before Daniel Descalso tied the game with a homer to right in the eighth inning. Renfroe got the Padres on the board in the first with a two-run homer and gave San Diego a 3-2 advantage with a two-out, RBI-single in the sixth.
