LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly session to elect the new chief minister of the province has started with Speaker Ch Pervez Elahi in the chair. The session began amid ruckus by the lawmakers of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz who gathered in front of Speaker protesting his ‘late arrival in the assembly’.
