Madras high court puts Sebi on notice in multicrore stock trading scam

CHENNAI: In a potential embarrassment to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the Madras high court on Thursday ordered notice to the nation`s market regulator in connection with a suspected multicrore fraud involving National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) employees. Justice T Raja, admitting a plea moved by advocate A Kumar, directed Sebi to file a response in two weeks.
