Already without everyday backstop Gary Sanchez, the Yankees` catching depth took another hit Sunday when Austin Romine was removed from the game to undergo further examination by the training staff in the sixth inning. Romine exited a frame after being hit with a foul ball in the mask, prompting a delay of several minutes as he was attended to behind the plate.
