Congress revokes suspension of Mani Shankar Aiyar

In the press statement, the INC said that the Congress president approved the recommendation of the Central Disciplinary Committee of AICC for revoking the suspension of Mani Shankar Aiyar from the primary membership with immediate effect. The former Union minister was suspended from the primary membership of the Congress after he had made a remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Gujarat Assembly elections in December last year.
