A mountain community organization supporting local education is coming down the hill to offer San Bernardino students the chance to discover new career paths. Rim of the World Educational Foundation was founded in 1985 to provide support to schools in the Rim of the World Unified School District. The organization had a modest first few years, gradually raising $10,000 in competitive grants, but has grown exponentially since, according to Jo Bonita Rains, president.
