Jorge Lopez worked 4 2/3 innings in his Kansas City debut on Wednesday night at Kauffman Stadium. A grand slam off the bat of Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson was the decisive blow in what was a 6-5 Toronto win, as Lopez picked up the loss in his first start with the Royals. Salvador Perez added a pair of home runs in the loss.
