BEML launches indigenously developed dump truck

Mysuru: The Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) plant in the city on Wednesday launched India´s first indigenously developed 150T Electric Drive Rear Dump Truck. The launch of the vehicle is in keeping with the central government´s flagship `Make In India´ initiative. The vehicle is touted to help offset the growing demand for higher-capacity equipment in the mining industry.
