Gallardo hits snag in bid for 2019 rotation

The Rangers need starting pitching, and they got a snapshot on Tuesday of the kinds of pitchers that will be available this coming winter. In Column A, there will be Patrick Corbin, the 29-year-old left-hander who pitched the D-backs to a win over Texas at Globe Life Park. In Column B is Yovani Gallardo, who had a four-game winning streak snapped when he allowed four runs in 3 1/3 innings.
