State agrees to sell Glavin land to Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY – The state has agreed to sell part of the former Irving A. Glavin  property to the town, including a portion to build the new Beal Elementary School, for $915,000.Gov. Charlie Baker recently signed the bill authorizing the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to sell the nearly 90 acres on Lake Street to the town. The bill was filed by local legislators after a January special town meeting approved the filing of a home rule petition. [...] ......
