Lehigh`s quest out West: Q&A with the head of university`s California office

It`s no secret that Lehigh University is popular choice in a region that shares the same name. Just under 50 percent of its student body comes from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with an additional 15 percent coming from New York. Students from outside those three states plus Massachusetts, Connecticut and Maryland comprise three-fourths of its entire student body. International students account for 9 percent, and domestic students outside the states above account for 16 percent. To increase its foothold in California and other western states, Lehigh opened in 2016 its western regional office.
