Civilians to help check social media misuse: DGP

PATNA: Bihar director general of police (DGP) K S Dwivedi on Friday said the cybercrime and social media units (CCSMUs) of the police department would work in close coordination with the proposed Cyber Senani Samooh (CSS) units, comprising civilians as their registered members, in a bid to prevent misuse of social media in the state. `Steps have already been initiated to constitute 74 CCSMUs in the state covering all the 38 districts.
