Mik´Quan Deane´s next challenge is to become Western Kentucky´s next great tight end. It´s a tall task, but nothing compared to other challenges Deane has overcome. The Hilltopper tight end is preparing for his redshirt senior season at WKU. He and his teammates kick off the 2018 schedule Aug. 31 at Wisconsin. Deane transferred to the Topper program in 2017 from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, a junior college. After playing last year as a reserve behind Deon Yelder, Deane sits at the top of the position´s depth chart this fall.
