27 illegal resorts in Moyar elephant corridor being served notice to vacate

Udhagamandalam: The 27 illegal resorts falling within the Moyar elephant corridor in the Nilgiris are being served notice by the Nilgiris district administration to vacate their premises in accordance with the Supreme Court order issued on Thursday. The other 12 resorts which represented themselves in court on Thursday have been given 48 hours to produce building approval documents and ownership certificate to the Nilgiris collector. According to the collector four resorts have so far submitted their documents which are to be perused.
