Mariners make history with 1st-inning cycle

Mitch Haniger, Denard Span, Jean Segura and Nelson Cruz hit for the cycle in reverse order to start the Mariners` win against Justin Verlander and the Astros. Verlander allowed six runs over two innings before he was ejected after the top of the second. Haniger, Span and Segura each finished a hit shy of the cycle and had at least three hits. Marwin Gonzalez and Tony Kemp each drove in two for Houston.
