Fiers leans on sense of humor after trade to A`s

The Tigers and A`s couldn`t agree on a Mike Fiers trade before last Tuesday`s non-waiver Trade Deadline. It did not take them long to put a new deal together once the right-hander went on waivers. Detroit dealt Fiers to Oakland on Monday for two players to be named, to be chosen from a list of prospects the clubs agreed upon when the deal was complete.
