23 July 2018 First Harvest Results show above-average winter barley yields Harvest Results from eight AHDB Recommended Lists (RL) winter barley trials sites (Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Suffolk, Warwickshire, North Yorkshire, Glamorgan, Scottish Borders and Dorset) have been published to date (23 July 2018). Despite the weather extremes across the UK this season, the average treated yield of control varieties (10.11 t/ha) is currently ahead of the five-year average (9.9 t/ha).
