Johannesburg - A man was shot and killed, and two other passengers were injured on Tuesday afternoon in a shooting in Johannesburg north, Gauteng police said. `It is alleged that a 46-year-old man was driving in a silver BMW with two other passengers when two suspects driving in a white Mercedes Benz started shooting at the car,` spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele said. The shooting occurred on the corners of Malibongwe drive and President Fouche drive, in Olivedale. Makhubele said the motive of the killing was unknown.
