Arenado`s glove spurs series win over D-backs

Coming off a 19-run blowout win, the Rockies pieced together a more traditional victory over the D-backs on Thursday. Starter Kyle Freeland held Arizona to one run, giving his offense enough time to string together timely hits and build a three-run lead in the sixth inning. Trevor Story and Carlos Gonzalez extended the Rockies` lead with a solo homer and an RBI single, respectively, in the seventh. D-backs starter Robbie Ray looked sharp through 5 1/3 but left the game with two runners on, who both scored.
