Pelosi asks what Russia has on Trump, won`t promise hearings

WASHINGTON (AP) - The top House Democrat says she wants to know what the Russians have on Donald Trump `politically, financially and personally.` But California`s Nancy Pelosi won`t say whether she`d hold hearings on that next year if her party wins House control and she becomes speaker. The minority leader says she can`t explain the president`s `disrespect for NATO` or his `lack of understanding` of Russia`s threat. Asked if she`d hold hearings on the subject, she said Democrats should focus on issues like health care and infrastructure and making sure Russian interference in U.S. elections doesn`t happen again. Democrats hope to win House control in November`s elections. ......
