Rays sweep behind Bauers` walk-off HR in 12th

First baseman Jake Bauers launched a solo homer in the 12th inning to send the Rays to a victory and a series sweep of the Yankees. Tampa Bay hadn`t scored since the third inning, when it put up three on Carlos Gomez`s RBI single and Jesus Sucre`s two-run double. Gomez also tallied an RBI double in the first, and Adeiny Hechavarria hit a solo shot in the second. Giancarlo Stanton led the Yankees` offense with his second career 5-for-5 day that included an RBI double in the fifth and a game-tying homer in the eighth that sent the finale to extras. Miguel Andujar hit a three-run big fly in the second.
