A`s recall Bash Bros with power display in SD

The A`s blasted back-to-back homers in consecutive innings for the first time since the Bash Brothers` heyday of 1997 to take the finale in San Diego. Franklin Barreto, Josh Phegley, Mark Canha and Matt Olson provided the thunder, backing an excellent start from Frankie Montas (6 2/3 IP, 1 ER), and Jed Lowrie added a two-run shot in the eighth. Joey Lucchesi lasted just 1 2/3 innings in his return from the DL, and while Christian Villanueva hit his first homer this month, the Padres couldn`t much going at the dish.
