Montas aims to stay hot vs. Verlander, Astros

The A`s will attempt to pull out a win against American League ERA leader Justin Verlander (1.45) in today`s 12:35 p.m. PT series finale against the Astros at Oakland Coliseum. They`ll counter with right-hander Frankie Montas, who has been superb since being recalled from Triple-A Nashville, winning all three of his starts and posting a 1.25 ERA.
