Cards hit 3 homers as Wacha wins 8th straight

Michael Wacha was spotted a 2-0 lead before he toed the rubber, and the righty took it from there, winning his eighth consecutive decision in the Cardinals` 6-4 victory over the Reds. Jose Martinez and Marcell Ozuna hit back-to-back homers in the top of the first inning, and Yadier Molina hit a three-run double in the third to back Wacha, who allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings. The Reds mounted a comeback, highlighted by home runs from Eugenio Suarez and Jesse Winker, but weren`t able to get the tying run past first base. Reds starter Luis Castillo struck out 10 in a losing effort.
