Cards win in extras behind Gyorko`s RBI single

The Cardinals squandered an early 5-1 lead and Bud Norris blew a save, but a go-ahead single from Jedd Gyorko in the 10th inning saved the day as St. Louis earned a 7-6 win over the Reds. Jose Martinez homered twice off Reds starter Matt Harvey and Jairo Munoz hit a solo shot to put the Cards up early, but Jesse Winker`s RBI single with two outs in the 9th capped the Reds` comeback. In the 10th, Gyorko drove in Marcell Ozuna with a one-out single, and John Brebbia stranded two runners in the bottom of the frame to earn his second save.
