The FrieslandCampina cheese plant in Marum, Groningen (NL) is celebrating its centennial this year. The `Coöperatieve Zuivelfabriek Zuidelijk Westerkwartier`, as is written on the old façade of the building, was built in 1918 following the example of the Dutch cheese plants in Lutjewinkel (North-Holland) and Wolvega (Friesland).
