Many companies fail to explain how they use personal data

More than two thirds of the people in Finland, Sweden and Norway are worried about how companies use the personal data they collect. This is one of the main findings in a new SynoInt survey commissioned by Tieto. Over 90 percent of the respondents say it is important to be informed about how companies use their personal data but only one third believe that the companies do this well enough. In the survey, over 2000 people in Finland, Sweden and Norway were asked about their attitude towards sharing their personal data with companies.
