Alcides Escobar launched his first walk-off home run in the 14th inning as the Royals rallied to even the series against the Twins. Scott Barlow earned his first Major League win with four scoreless innings in relief, while Jorge Soler`s bases-loaded walk off reliever Addison Reed in the eighth forced extra innings for Kansas City. Kyle Gibson went seven strong innings in a no-decision for Minnesota.
