Matthew Boyd continued his solid start in the Tigers` rotation with five-plus scoreless innings against a righty-heavy Angels lineup, helping James McCann`s grand slam stand for a 9-3 Detroit win Monday afternoon at Comerica Park. Mike Trout hit his MLB-leading 18th home run in the ninth inning for the Angels.
