An endangered species was spotted at St. Paul´s Ordway Concert Hall Friday evening. There, standing before the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, baton in hand, was a conductor. They don´t come around SPCO performances very often anymore, as the group is moving toward keeping its own counsel in concert, embracing collaborative music making over playing follow the leader.
